Ricky Evans is still in contention to potentially move through to the knockout stage at the
Grand Slam of Darts after seeing off Wayne Warren.
Evans won through 5-3 and admitted afterwards he was glad to be able to have multiple chances after losing to Dimitri van den Bergh in the opener.
"Knowing I lost I was pretty much out of the event losing 5-1 so now I've got something to play for. So now I go into that game knowing if I win, I should be through but I've had five games in this event now and I've won a game," said Evans post match.
"Normally you play a game, you lose you're out normally so to have that second chance after yesterday's annihilation. It's a bit of a nice thing because I could be home, I could be sitting watching it on TV after Dimitri done me."
"I can average 110 or 79, I need to find the consistency to start winning titles."
