Rock and Ross Smith rampant in Brown and Beaton wins as Chisnall eases past Rupprecht

The opening clashes for the seeded players have ended in a trio of rampant wins to begin Day Two at the European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen.

Josh Rock, Ross Smith and Dave Chisnall have all eased into the final day and take their spot in the Last 16.

Rock faced off against Keegan Brown in a battle of the former World Youth Champions and in reality, it was easy progression for 'Rocky' who is chasing his World Cup spot by winning the title this weekend.

He was never troubled by Brown who averaged 71 in a 6-0 defeat carrying his display against Marcel Walpen yesterday into today's action. While for Rock, it was a solid 90 average, two 180's and he took his chances on the doubles with 40% in all.

Dave Chisnall has been the standout in many ways this season on the European Tour and the St Helens ace continued that on Saturday afternoon. He faced Pascal Rupprecht and made light work of the young German.

It was a 6-2 win for Chisnall who produced a 136 checkout to seal it in style with a 99 average and five 180's to boot.

He was joined by the European Champion in Ross Smith who was utterly ruthless as he took down Steve Beaton. It was a 100.2 average and 75% on the doubles for 'Smudger' in a rampant win. No joy for the unseeded players so far.
