Ryan Searle has quickly found shelter with another darts manufacturer after it was announced on New Year's Day that the partnership with Loxley Darts had ended.
Searle has signed a contract with Harrows Darts, which also has such top players as Dave Chisnall and Damon Heta under contract. ''We are delighted to announce that 4-time PDC title winner Ryan ‘Heavy Metal’ Searle has put pen to paper on a long term deal and become the newest member of Team Harrows,'' the manufacturer writes on X. "We look forward to a very successful partnership!"
With the arrival of Searle comes a special addition to the assortment of the British arrow supplier. Searle typically throws 34-gram darts. This weight is by far the heaviest of all darts on the professional circuit. Usually darts of between 21 and 24 grams are used.
