The Icons of Darts League may have finished on Saturday but darts fans don't have to wait long for the return of action with the first iteration of the MODUS Champions Series set to take place on Sunday afternoon.
As the Champions Series name suggests, it sees well-known champions face off and this weeks line-up is a star studded one featuring Phil Taylor.
The 16x World Champion has competed sporadically in the MODUS ran events as a special guest competing against standouts; such as David Evans and Wessel Nijman among others and he will be back involved in today's action.
He begins his campaign against three time Ladies World Champion, Anastasia Dobromyslova who will make her return to the MODUS events; having had a short stint in the Icons of Darts League.
She begins proceedings off at 4pm BST against Martin Adams, the three time Lakeside World Champion; who has been competing this past week once again in the Icons of Darts League; so has the match practice under his belt.
As does his second opponent, Fallon Sherrock who has been playing regularly with varied success. One of her main games has been against Phil Taylor; where she was just edged out 4-3 and 'The Queen of the Palace' will have another chance to claim victory in the final game.
All games will be best of nine legs with the action as alluded to starting at 4pm BST. This will be shown live and free via their YouTube channel.
