Martin Schindler played against Ryan Joyce at the
UK Open on Friday night. The German won the match 10-8 and advanced to the fifth round.
After this match, he gave a short interview to the German DAZN, in which he explained that his first match was the most difficult for him.
Schindler played in that match on the main stage against Lewy Williams and won 6-1. 'The Wall' said he struggled despite the big win. "The main stage doesn't suit me," he said. Schindler says he will need time to find his way on the big stage.
But playing on the smaller stages for as long as possible is not what the German wants either. "I need time on the big stage to deal with it," Schindler finally admits openly.
