Searle after narrowly losing first PDC major final: "I'd have felt like I robbed that game if I'd have won it"

Ryan Searle lost out in his first major final on Sunday night with 'Heavy Metal' being defeated 11-10 by Peter Wright in the Players Championship Finals.

Searle came back in the final from 10-8 behind to 10-10.

“I’d have felt like I robbed that game if I’d have won it at the end there,” admitted Searle. “Fair play to Peter, he took out the double and he fully deserved that.

But it is now onto the next one for Searle who is going forward with confidence ahead of the World Darts Championship.

“I learned a lot from this experience and we move forward from here.”
