After the conclusion of the PDC World Championship Qualifier, it has been revealed that seven players in the top 64 will miss the showpiece event at the Alexandra Palace next month.

These players are Jamie Lewis first of all who will come close to dropping out of the top 64 despite currently being in 34th place. This is due to him defending a lot of money previously from the World Championship two years ago. 'Fireball' will have to catch alight to continue having his Tour Card next year it seems.
Martin Schindler will not be involved either down in 50th place meaning only Gabriel Clemens and Max Hopp will form the German contingent.
Richard North and Antonio Alcinas down in 53rd and 54th are also likely to lose their Tour Cards as a result of not qualifying; the same can be said for Robert Thornton who despite his good performance at the Grand Slam of Darts has not qualified meaning Q-School beckons.
The same can be said for Alan Norris who has had a tough time away from the oche and Corey Cadby who didn't turn up in the end to Wigan.
