Fallon Sherrock has won her first PDC Women's Series title of the year seeing off Joanne Locke in the final of Event Three in Barnsley.
Lisa Ashton has so far been the dominant force this weekend with the duo kept apart barring in the semi-finals of Event Two but it was Sherrock's time to add an eighth title after winning six last year.
She had to win it the hard way though coming from 3-1 down against Locke to seal a 5-3 win.
Sherrock finally took the first leg pinning double five for a hold. A 180 and double 10 saw Locke level up and Locke went 140 and 180 against the Sherrock darts but only hit a single figure visit. Sherrock hit a 180 to leave 44 but missed multiple darts to hold and Locke broke to make it 2-1 up.
A 177 to leave 24 saw Locke go 3-1 up. A 45 checkout saw Sherrock hold and make it 3-2. She continued to find the trebles with a 180 to leave 55 which she pinned to make it 3-3.
She found double eight to go one away from the title and sealed it with a 68 checkout on double 20.
