The PDC itself no longer gives cash bonuses for throwing a nine-dart finish, but thanks to a leading sponsor, players can still earn a nice extra during the World Darts Championship.
Sponsor Selco Builders Warehouse has made an amount of 100,000 pounds available in case a player manages to throw two nine-dart finishes during the upcoming World Darts Championship.
Half of the amount made available will go to the player. In addition, £25,000 will be distributed to a fan in the audience, and £25,000 will go to charity.
