Suljovic on darting future after World Cup return: "This is not the old Mensur, I'm sorry"

Austria made an excellent start to the World Cup of Darts with Mensur Suljovic and Rowby-John Rodriguez easily beating the Philippines 5-1.

Suljovic returned to action for the first time in a long time during the Hungarian Darts Trophy after not playing since April this year.

"I've had big problems at the moment but it's ok, it's getting better and better. I give my best," said Suljovic to Online Darts.

"This is the most difficult year of my career. It's so hard for me, I haven't played for four months."

The 'old' Mensur

He was also asked about whether he would take his place back on the tour more regularly and he is unsure as of yet and said he is not like he was.

"Watch this space. This is not the old Mensur, I'm sorry. I give my best in this tournament for my friend."
