"That's my big dream right now" - Andy Baetens switches attention to Q-School after Lakeside title win

Andy Baetens took the WDF world title at Lakeside on Sunday night. In the final, he defeated Chris Landman 6-1 in sets. With this final victory, 'The Beast' captured the top prize of 50,000 pounds.

Baetens is currently still semi-professional, so he can put the prize money to good use. The Belgian reveals to Sporza what he will do first with that prize money. ''I think I'm going to buy an electric bike with that."

With that, Baetens plans to work on his fitness. "The intention is to lose a few pounds. I want to be in top fitness in January for the PDC Q School, where PDC tour tickets can be earned. That's my big dream right now."

Outside of darts, Baetens works as a stocker in a supermarket. "Meanwhile, I continue to enjoy working every day. I don't do well sitting at home. But if I get into the PDC, I will have to make choices."
