Top averages Players Championship 3&4: Wright and Van Gerwen finish top

The top averages have been released for the latest Players Championship double header which took place this past weekend in Wigan.
Peter Wright topped the rankings with 112.85 against Maik Kuivenhoven in his Quarter-Final win at Players Championship 4.
This was followed by Michael Van Gerwen who hit 110.92; also during the same event against Ryan Murray.
Wright and Van Gerwen round out the top five showing the form the duo were in throughout the weekend; despite not claiming the ranking titles.
Also among those on the list were Danny Noppert, Darius Labanauskas and Mensur Suljovic with for the first and third these averages hit during nine-dart finish matches.
There was also not a high average below 106 showing the increased standard as the season begins brilliantly.
