Tricole set for Players Championship 7 and 8, first Frenchman to play on ProTour

Thibault Tricole will make his debut on the PDC ProTour this weekend in Niedernhausen for Players Championship 7 and 8, he has confirmed on his Facebook page.
That makes him the first Frenchman ever on the ProTour. He received an invitation after several Tour Card holders withdrew from the two Players Championship tournaments in Germany.
After cancellations of Tour Card holders, the highest ranked players on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit are called up as reserves. Tricole is currently ranked 14th on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
