Van Duivenbode reveals Development Tour will help to achieve ambitions: "First to reach the World Championship and second to secure my Tour Card for next season"

For many players in the lower echelons of the PDC rankings, the Coronavirus throws up a huge problem in terms of keeping their Tour Cards and for Mike van Duivenbode it is no different.
Van Duivenbode still needs a lot of money to keep his and he like many other dart players is forced to stay at home for at least the time being.
"I fill my days with training and I also work a few days a week," the Dutchman said to Darts Actueel.
At the beginning of last year he captured a Tour Card but he is honest about his chances of keeping it. “It is very difficult to throw against the best darters in the world week after week. I will try to get the best out of myself in the coming six months and then we'll see. "
Due to being under 24, Van Duivenbode may also play on the Development Tour. “At the first four tournaments of 2020 I already managed to reach the last sixteen twice. The Development Tour will be very important this year, first to reach the World Championship and second to secure my Tour Card for next season. ”

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
