Van Gerwen joins illustrious list of speakers at the Cambridge Union

Michael van Gerwen was invited to visit the Cambridge Union on Tuesday. There, the three-time world champion spoke to students.

With this visit, the 34-year-old dart player follows in the footsteps of some famous predecessors. Among others, cyclist Bradley Wiggins, TV personality Jeremy Vine, parliamentarian John Bercow, F1 team boss Christian Horner, footballer Tony Adams, actor Robert de Niro and current PDC chairman Eddie Hearn have all previously been interviewed by the institute.

The Cambridge Union is the largest association that is part of the famous University of Cambridge. Also, the institute is the largest debating society in the world.
