Michael van Gerwen is not competing in the Pro Tour tournaments in Barnsley this week, but showed at an exhibition in Skegness that his form is still fine.

Van Gerwen played an exhibition match against Nathan Aspinall in Skegness, England. A repeat of the World Grand Prix final won by the Dutchman in early October. Again, 'Mighty Mike' won again. An average of 103 made it 8-3 for Van Gerwen.

Two other exhibition matches were also played. Fallon Sherrock triumphed 4-3 against Robert Thornton after trailing 0-3. Matthew Edgar was too strong for Pete Burgoyne in the preliminary 3-0.
