Van Gerwen tops highest averages during 2020 Players Championship Finals

Michael van Gerwen not only claimed the title for the sixth time at the Players Championship Finals but he led the averages.

Van Gerwen hit 110.01 during his Quarter-Finals victory over Dirk van Duijvenbode which he claimed 10-5. He was followed by Boris Krcmar who despite hitting 107.79 lost out in the first round to Michael Smith.

This was followed by Luke Humphries (107.60) and Jermaine Wattimena (107.12) who faced off in a high quality tie in the second round.

Mervyn King (105.12) rounds out the top five from his first round win over Dave Chisnall.
