Fans are potentially set to return at the PDC World Championship in two weeks time and for
Nathan Aspinall, it can’t come sooner.
Speaking over the weekend, Aspinall admitted he has struggled without fans but that it would be the icing on the cake if they were let in.
“Growing up watching darts, it’s all about the atmosphere and as soon as I knew it was at Ally Pally, obviously the announcement about the potential fans back I was over the moon because I have struggled to get adrenaline pumping,” said Aspinall to Online Darts.
“I’m still new on my career so every time I walk on it’s still an amazing buzz and adrenaline for me and obviously we’ve lost that at the moment but fingers crossed they can be there and after the year we’ve had, what a way to finish the darting calendar with a thousand people at Ally Pally.”
