A remarkable event occurred after the match between Nathan Aspinall and Mario Vandenbogaerde at the International Darts Open in Riesa.
After Aspinall won the match 6-4 and wanted to shake hands with the officials on stage, a sticker board on the backdrop fell down.

Fortunately for "The Asp," the falling piece hardly had any weight and did not injure him. Referee Kirk Bevins watched the scene in amazement, but couldn't suppress a laugh after Aspinall himself burst into laughter.
