Martin Schindler and Max Hopp have faced the Netherlands twice in the quarterfinals of the World Cup of Darts. Both times, the latter have advanced to the semi-finals.

Schindler and Hopp first faced off against Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld in 2017, it went all the way to pairs after Hopp defeated Barney.

This was then won 4-1 though by the Netherlands. A year later, the tie was already settled after the singles and the Dutch team reached the last four.
