What will Ricky Evans do was a common question Sunday morning at Alexandra Palace. It was not a question to predict the outcome, but a question to predict what "Rapid Ricky" was going to do on his rise.
The answer; virtually the same as last year. With the Christmas classic Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin' Stevens, Evans made his way to the stage for his World Championship match against Simon Adams.
Whereas last year Evans wore a Santa hat and beard during his walk-on, this year Evans stuck to just wacky Christmas glasses.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
