Wade 'not really interested' in potential Premier League spot after White win

James Wade saw off Ian White 10-4 to book his place in the Quarter-Finals of the Grand Slam of Darts with a very strong display.

For many, thoughts would turn to a potential Premier League return for 'The Machine' but he admitted he is not really 'interested'.

"I think tonight was the first time I've been weak and the first time I've been unsure of myself so it is what it is and I was lucky enough to win and I move forward," said Wade post match.

"I'm not really interested to be fair. There are some great players in the Premier League and I'll let them all fly their feathers and show their big wings and they can do their thing.

"I don't think I've ever played in the Premier League and embarrassed myself and I don't think I've ever played in the Premier League and not shown a little bit of class. But that's irrelevant."
