White confident of potential World Series of Darts Finals title win: 'I'm loving every minute of it, so why can't I win this'

Ian White eased past Peter Wright in a 6-2 win and he believes that this tournament could be the one to lift himself to the higher echelons of the game.
White said that he knows he is getting closer and that he is loving every minute of it; so he asked the question as a result why can't he win the whole thing.
“I’m really enjoying myself at the moment and know I’m getting closer.
“I’ve got the best job in the world and I’m loving every minute of it, so why can’t I win this tomorrow?”

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
