Mensur Suljovic came through a scrappy tie with Brisbane Darts Master, Damon Heta winning 6-3 but despite that he only averaged 89.64.
Suljovic was far more clinical than his opponent though and said that it was the win that was the most important.
'The Gentle' added though that he is focusing one game at a time and not on the potential of another title at the end of the day.
“Today was another tough game, it was hard but I won and that is important.
“My focus is now on my match tomorrow not on winning the trophy. I always have to focus on my next match and not anything else.” concluded Suljovic after his victory.
