Whitlock and Heta pay tribute to Kyle Anderson after World Cup of Darts win

Another facet of Australia's World Cup of Darts win was doing it in tribute of Kyle Anderson who sadly passed away at the age of 33 in August of last year.

Representing Australia four times before his passing, he had previously reached the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals with Whitlock.

As well as being best friends with Heta who took his place in the Australia team as of 2020 and for both, it was about not only their country but in memory of 'The Original'.

"I was thinking about Kyle the whole time we played. He was a great guy and a great dart player," said Whitlock.

"My playlist today before I went on for my first game against Belgium, I played his walk on song and that was a bit of inspiration. For Kyle, for Australia in general, we had so much support back home," continued Heta.
