The World Series of Darts Tour finished this past Saturday with Michael van Gerwen claiming the title in seeing off Raymond van Barneveld. As a result there was nine different finalists in only five events.
Only Michael van Gerwen claimed two
World Series titles as well with all the rest going to different players including the likes of
Nathan Aspinall and
Damon Heta.
In terms of the finalists, they ranged from Rob Cross to Gabriel Clemens in one of the most open years on the invitation tour there have been. As a result no one is really dominating at the moment which goes for both the main PDC Pro Tour as well.
