Xicheng Han set for PDC World Darts Championship debut despite qualifier defeat as Xiaochen Zong denied spot due to vaccination issues

An extraordinary turn of events occurred at the China Premier League. Xiaochen Zong dominated and won the event, but will not travel to Alexandra Palace in December for the PDC World Darts Championship.
Zong beat Xicheng Han in the final of the qualification tournament 11-6. Still, the defeat is without consequences for Han.
That is because Zong cannot be vaccinated against coronavirus due to allergies. Therefore PDC China decided to send the losing finalist Han to the World Darts Championship, a source told Darts Actueel.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
