Greaves and Fajardo to women's singles final at WDF Europe Cup

The final of the women's singles tournament at the WDF Europe Cup is between an English and a Spanish player. Top favourite Beau Greaves will take on Almudena Fajardo in the final match.

The Spanish caused a surprise by eliminating Deta Hedman 4-3 in the last sixteen. She then also beat Monique Lessmeister (5-4) and Veronika Ihasz (6-4) for a place in the final.

Greaves impressed by conceding only four legs in her six matches. She beat the likes of Anca Zijlstra (4-0), Robyn Byrne (5-2) and Rhian O'Sullivan (6-1).
