New Zealand and Scottish duo into pairs final at WDF World Cup

The first finalists at the WDF World Cup have been announced. On Tuesday the event in Denmark started with the men's pairs tournament. Here two New Zealanders and two Scots managed to reach the final match.

Haupai Puha and Ben Robb were already considered outsiders for the final and they managed to live up to this status. They defeated among others the duos Karsten Koch/Nico Schunke, Vitezslav Sedlak/Alexander Masek, Raymond Smith/Peter Machin, Wesley Plaisier/Berry van Peer and Hannes Schnier/Markus Straub to qualify for the final.

More surprisingly, Scots Danny Trueman and Davie Kirwan made it to the final. They took care of Tom Veje Kristensen/Simon Bak, Neven Resetar/Filip Ljubenko and Jozsef Rucska/Lehel Kaman, among others. The final between the two New Zealanders and Scots is not until Friday evening.
