At the Hilcroft Hotel in Whitburn, Scotland, there will be a £5,000 prize fund across the Classic, Compris and Ladies events with the latter set to be crowned for the first time.
As an aside from title sponsors Winmau, there will be a one year Winmau equipment sponsorship contract offered to the winners of each event.
Winmau’s Sales and Marketing Director, Ian Flack, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting the new-look WDDA Winmau World Championship. For the first time there will be a separate Classic and Compris champion and the addition of the ladies event is a major advance for disability darts.
“Our thanks go to all at the WDDA and Darts Scotland for putting on an amazing extended weekend of darts with two major championships in once location. The best of luck to all players.”
