Tuesday at the
Lakeside sees the route to the Last 16 in the men's tournament set with favorite
Leonard Gates and defending champion,
Neil Duff in action as well as a myriad of Dutch players.
Immediately in the first match of the day, two Dutchmen face each other. The first game of the afternoon session is between Alexander Merkx and Arjan Konterman. Later that session, Wesley Plaisier appears on stage for his match against Reece Colley. Furthermore, Rhian O'Sullivan takes on Suzanne Smith, and Martyn Turner faces Liam Maendl-Lawrance.
On Tuesday night it is the turn of
Jelle Klaasen. He will face Edwin Torbjörnsson from Sweden. Aletta Wajer will face Deta Hedman, while Moreno Blom will play defending champion Neil Duff. The evening concludes with a meeting between John Scott and title favorite Leonard Gates.

Tungsten Tales the live streams will be made available as well as Ayozat TV on Sky and their website.
Distribution of prize money at Lakeside
The total prize pool for the WDF Lakeside World Championship includes £257,000 in prize money. That is a lot less than in 2022, when £300,000 was paid out.
The main prize for the winner of the men's and women's tournament did remain the same. The winner in the men's will take home 50,000 pounds in prize money. The winner in the women's will receive a check for 25,000 pounds.
