Adrian Lewis was one of the faces last week at the "Night of Champions," where the 11 PDC world champions came together to look back on the past 30 editions of the World Darts Championship.
During the London event, fans in attendance were clamoring for a return to the PDC circuit. Presenter Wayne Mardle decided to ask 'Jackpot' about his possible plans for a comeback.
But for now, a return does not seem to be in the cards. ''A possibility. I haven’t got any plans at the minute. We will see. I cannot promise something,'' Lewis replied to Mardle's question so writes Oche180.
Lewis then also mixed in the discussion about the dominance of Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen. ''To be the ultimate like Phil and MVG have been, you have got to be greedy and want more and more and more. Not be happy and content with just the one. You have got to want more and more."
Who, according to the 38-year-old Englishman, is the best darter ever? “I think at the peak, consistency, leg-on-leg pressure, it has got to be Phil. It has got to be.”
