The Liverpool vs Arsenal match in the Premier League this weekend, drew in the biggest Sky audience of the year with 2.7 million viewers tuning in. These numbers pale in comparison however to those that viewed the World Seniors Champion of Champions.
The tournament won by Leonard Gates starred some of the biggest names in darting history such as Phil Taylor and Martin Adams. With the action also being shown on free TV in the UK via Channel 5, a massive viewing audience of 3.5 million glued to their screens watching the action as the Soulger became just the third American to win a major televised darts tournament.
