GSOD18 Gary Anderson

Gary Anderson produced the fourth best average in Grand Slam history on Sunday evening as he demolished Ian White 5-1.

It was a 112 average with seven 180’s and 71% on the doubles for the Flying Scotsman. Anderson spoke afterwards and admitted that he had to play well against a good friend. Also he went six darts into a perfect leg but he himself, didn’t want to hit it.
"I was thinking 'don't hit the nine-darter' because it can all go wrong if you do that!” said Anderson, a former Wolverhampton finalist.
"Ian is a great player and a good friend of mine so I knew I had to be at my best to win against a top player."
