The Blackburn prospect said in an interview with Dartsnews.com earlier this year that he wanted to play the darts he knows he can play and that he believed he had the ability.
He did so winning alongside another prospect in Dawson Murschell and he has taken scalps against the likes of Jelle Klaasen, John Part and Dave Chisnall among others so far in his debut year.
In addition, Brooks has made a final of a Development Tour this year further continuing his development and he joins the player he defeated in the European Championship final last year, Jarred Cole. These 2 signings show Target's commitment to breeding new talent such as Brooks, Rafferty and Cole.
