Co Stompé will be making his return to the PDC in 2018. 'The Matchstick' is the next player to be returning to the tour after Colin 'Jaws' Lloyd announced his intention last week to go to Q-School in the new year.
He announced it through RTL7, who act almost like Sky in the Netherlands and show coverage of darts events which Stompé provides punditry for.
He last played a PDC event in 2013 when he still held a tour card and then switched to the BDO where he played for around a year and despite keeping his hand in the game he has not played on either tour since.
He may have an advantage as he will be playing at the newly formed European Q-School which could garner less participants which could mean Stompe will be a tour card holder again.
