Rob Cross has impressed in his debut year in the Premier League and sits on the verge of a debut at the Play-Offs at the O2. He has his chance to confirm it this week against Michael van Gerwen.
After his draw with Raymond van Barneveld, he spoke to Dan Dawson for about the match as well as the rest of the Premier League as well as adjusting to the Pro Tours after the Premier League. 'It was really up and down' said Cross. 'I reacted very well and then I dropped off again, it was just weird'. 'Obviously tonight I knew if I won I was guaranteed' 'I practiced really well but when push come to shove, there wasn't a lot there'. He then spoke about the match with Van Gerwen as well as the pressure that is put on him now: 'It's going to be interesting' said 'Voltage'. 'I'm playing well, I'm happy where I am'. 'It's been amazing and I am very grateful but realistically I have been here 15 months, carrying that things have changed'. 'You spend 15 weeks on the road and look at that final night and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel' 'I have learnt so much in the Premier League this year'
