De Zwaan tops highest averages so far in Players Championship series

Jeffrey de Zwaan may have claimed his first PDC title on Sunday but this is form he has shown throughout the early season as statistics compiled by Premium Dart Data show.
'The Black Cobra' has the highest average so far in the ten events that have been held in the series. His effort of 115.62 tops the leaderboard. In second place is Ian White. He is also a winner on the series this year and also hit an effort of 115 just behind him though with 115.02.
Behind de Zwaan and White is Michael Smith who is also a winner this season with all but one of the top 5 claiming PDC ranking titles on the Pro Tour this season so far.
The only player with an effort in the top five who hasn't won a title this season is Gerwyn Price who hit an effort of 112.48 in Players Championship 7.
It is also interesting to note that most of the highest averages came at Players Championship 7 with only one taking place at this past Pro Tour weekend.
