Gurney claims Kidderminster Masters title defeating Jenkins in final

There was an exhibition win for recent Players Championship Finals winner, Daryl Gurney who defeated Terry Jenkins to win the Kidderminster Masters title on Friday night.

Along the way he saw off Steve Beaton before he defeated ‘The Bull’ in a comprehensive 4-1 win. The Ledbury ace himself had got to the final by defeating Andy Hamilton in a whitewash win. The event had a stacked line up that also included ‘One Dart’ Peter Manley. It was the former World Grand Prix Champion who claimed glory in the end though.
