Ronny Huybrechts ended the first half of the evening session with a good performance to dump out Number 3 Peter Wright as there were also wins for Darren Webster, Kyle Anderson and Mensur Suljovic with Mensur the only seed out of those games to make it through to the Last 16 in Mannheim.
Darren Webster defeated Alan Norris 6-3 to set up a match with Benito van de Pas tomorrow. The Demolition Man averaged 83 and despite both men struggled, Webster came through as the seeds continued to fall in Mannheim.
In the second match of the night, Kyle Anderson defeated Kim Huybrechts to get through to the next round. The recent Auckland Darts master had a 102 average in a 6-4 win.
Mensur Suljovic will face Rob Cross in the last 16 and ends the rot for the seeds with a 6-1 win against 'The Magnet' Mick McGowan. 'The Gentle' averaged 87 and will need to up that against Voltage but the main thing is that he is through.
Ronny Huybrechts then dumped out Peter Wright in a 6-2 victory to keep his road to World Grand Prix qualification alive. The Rebel averaged 96.4 and put in a great performance against the World Number 3.
