Ian White is through to the second round at the World Championship meaning there isn't another casualty seed wise. He defeated 'Code Star'
Cody Harris who played well and pushed 'Diamond' to the limit and made the Stoke-on-Trent man play near his best to get through.
The turning point was a 95 finish in the 3rd set when Harris was sat on a 44 finish to go to within one of a 2nd set but a fatigued Harris couldn't live with White in the final set which allowed him over the line and into a second round clash with Gerwyn Price who defeated Ted Evetts in round 1.
Stats wise, White averaged 96, hit four 180's and 50% on the doubles as he fended off a tricky test from his New Zealand opponent.
