Klaasen storms into second round International Darts Open, West survives match-darts

Jelle Klaasen has booked an easy win to qualify for the second round at the International Darts Open in Riesa. 'The Cobra' didnt drop a leg against Jose Justicia (6-0).

The Spaniard was broken in the opening leg with an 18-dart leg, then Klaasen walked away to 3-0. Justicia missed three chances to get on the scoreboard in leg four. The Dutchman made 4-0 and hardly gave away any more chances and won with 6-0.
Michael Plooy missed chances to reach the last 32 of the PDC European Tour tournament in Riesa. The 34-year-old from the Netherlands missed three match-darts against Steve West and then lost 6-5.
Barry Lynn advanced into the second day of action after a 6-3 victory over Dawson Murschell. Ryan Searle defeated debutant Ricardo Pietreczko 6-4, after winning the last four legs.
