Despite some trouble towards the end in terms of getting over the line and at points during the second set, Lennon was dominant throughout and will face Alan Norris in Round Two. Lennon took the first set pinning double 20 first time in what was a three-one salvo for the Irishman. Bailey got into the contest with a brilliant 100 exhibition outshot but Lennon went two-one up with a 112 checkout. Lennon though missed stacks of darts to win the set three-one and Bailey sent it into a decider. Despite all those missed darts at the double, Lennon survived the brief scare to claim the second set pinning double 20 first time. He started the next set by breaking the Bailey throw with a double 16 and followed that up by finishing tops in order to double his advantage and to go one away from the next round. Bailey missed double 18 for a 147 checkout and left double 9 which he had a problem on but Lennon couldn't finish off the job and so he was given a reprieve. This reprieve didn't last long though with Lennon moving through to the next round on throw and to go one better than his debut last year. for more information about the
