Wayne Mardle has lauded Rob Cross after another victory for the current World Champion over Mensur Suljovic as he continues to get back to the form that saw him win that world title.
'Hawaii 501' said that Cross looked calm and composed and like a million dollars when asked by Sky Sports host Dave Clark after the win and he went onto say he believes Cross has a good action that will stand him in good stead. "He just looked so calm and composed," Mardle said on Sky Sports after Cross's win over Suljovic. "I was talking to him backstage and he just said he felt good. "He said that his game is getting back to where it was. It is all so new that I'm not sure he's used to anything that's a downer for that long. He lost the first two weeks of the Premier League and that's the biggest kind of drought that he's ever had, but he's come back really well. "He's got a really good follow through in his action and that's going to stand him in good stead. Tonight, it was nice and high without being pushed and I thought he looked a million dollars."
