Meet the World Cup of Darts 2019 teams: Hong Kong, Hungary and Ireland

The World Cup of Darts 2019 will take place from 6-9 June in Hamburg. Dartsnews introduces the competing nations ahead of the start of the event.

We are paying attention to Hong Kong, Hungary and Ireland in this article. Ireland is one of the ever presents at this nation tournament, while Hungary and Hong Kong missed respectively one and three editions.

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is part of the field for a sixth time. Royden Lam and Kai Fan Leung form a team for a second year, as they lost in the second round in 2017.
Lam always has been part of the Hong Kong team, while he reached the quarter-finals in 2015 alongside Scott MacKenzie. During the last three editions, Hong Kong lost in the first round on every occasion.

Vegso competed in 2017 before, while Szekely will make his debut. The latter recently made his European Tour debut at the Dutch Darts Masters, where he lost to Raymond van Barneveld in the first round.
