Suljovic claims first World Series title at German Darts Masters defeating Van den Bergh in final

Mensur Suljovic has claimed another TV title by winning the German Darts Masters in Gelsenkirchen defeating Dimitri van den Bergh in the final. He adds to his Champions League title, a Pro Tour and European Tour in what has been a monumental rise for the Austrian.

Suljovic on only his second appearance on the World Series has won a title and he did so by defeating a player making his debut in the tour, Dimitri van den Bergh. As expected though The Gentle's experience showed with an 8-2 victory.
An average of 101 from Suljovic as well as five 180's did the job as he claimed his second title in the space of a year on TV. This comes off the back of a good Premier League campaign where he was unlucky to be eliminated.
