James Wade won’t be making it three titles in a row on TV after he was beaten by German ace Michael Unterbuchner.

It is one of the biggest wins in the career of ‘T-Rex’ so far and he has made sure it was unlucky world number thirteen for Wade who loses his unbeaten run. Unterbuchner went 4-1 up in the early going dramatically and many wouldn’t have predicted he would have kept it up.
They could have been right with Wade pulling it back to 5-4. The BDO ace then went 7-4 up to stretch his lead further though. He then extended it further to a leg of victory of 9-4. ‘The Machine’ came back again to make it 9-6.
Despite that though, it was little too late and Unterbuchner claimed a massive win. It was a 93 average with 37% on the doubles for him with Wade at 30% and not at his prolific best.
