James Wilson has revealed he has had an eye injury which has hampered the beginning of the season for the Huddersfield ace.
Wilson said to Live Darts that he’s been for an MRI scan and will get an injection to rid him of the injury which he has said is also hampering his ability to hit doubles.
‘It’s great match practice when you’ve got a crowd,’ said Wilson as he attended an exhibition in Dudley.
‘I’ve got a twitch in my eye. It’s a nerve in my lid, I’ve been for an MRI scan.’
‘They are going to find the nerve and inject it and hopefully I’ll be able to see again.’
‘The scoring is there, it’s just when I go for a double.’
‘It’s been causing me problems, I’ve just got to dig in.’
