Wright did so by seeing off defending champion Kyle Anderson in like the other games a bit of a one sided affair.
It was 4-3 to ‘Snakebite’ at one point meaning a close encounter; but he streaked ahead to the finishing line.
A 93 average for the German Darts Masters champion with 3 180’s and 38% on the doubles meant an average performance; but with Anderson hitting the same amount of 180’s but 3/11 on doubles it was those that win the contest for Wright.
