After losing to Mikuru Suzuki early on during Event Five of the PDC Women's Series, Lisa Ashton is again back in the winners' circle with her fourth title of the season to extend her dominance at the top of the Order of Merit.
Joining Trina Gulliver who had a welcome return to the winners' circle with her maiden title earlier today, Ashton denied Laura Turner who reached back-to-back finals and mounted a mini fightback after going 4-0 down losing out 5-2 in the end.
It is so far a fruitful weekend for Turner who now sits locked in third place behind Ashton and Fallon Sherrock, level with Lorraine Winstanley, with Gulliver in fifth after today.
Currently Rhian Griffiths, Robyn Byrne and Chloe O'Brien are the players completing the top eight with the race to the Women's World Matchplay continuing.
Those currently just outside are Aileen de Graaf in tenth and Mikuru Suzuki who sits down in 14th but has had a successful day today.
